3. Permissions Explained
Our App requires the following permissions to function properly:
- INTERNET: Used to display ads, download media content, and access online Santa-related features such as trackers and messages.
- CAMERA: Required to allow users to record or take photos/videos for interactive Santa messages..
- SET_WALLPAPER: Enables users to set wallpapers from within the app.
- WRITE_SETTINGS: Used to adjust device settings such as ringtone (requires user consent).
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (for Android 12 or lower): Used to save captured photos, videos, and wallpapers locally on your device.
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (for Android 13+): Allows the app to access and display media files such as images or audio saved on your device.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to notify users about new Santa messages, updates, or scheduled reminders.
- com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used by advertising SDKs (e.g., Google AdMob) to display personalized or non-personalized ads.
- SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Required to show Santa callscreen.
We request these permissions only to deliver the core and interactive features of the app. You can manage or revoke these permissions anytime from your device settings.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your personal and sensitive data, such as photos, videos, and app settings, are stored securely on your device. We do not transmit this information to our servers or share it with any unauthorized third party.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect all data processed within the app, including encryption and restricted access.
Temporary data (e.g., cached images or media previews) may be used to enhance performance and user experience, but is automatically cleared by the system periodically.
